Going forward, the transaction description on your bank or credit card statement for PickupHub will be more descriptive. You will be able to distinguish between a Hold and a Payment.
When you reserve your spot for a game on PickupHub, we place a Hold on your card, but we do not charge your card. The payment occurs when the game starts.
In the case of a reservation, your statement will show: HUB/99111-HOLD
The format is “HUB,” indicating that this is a PickupHub transaction. The “#####” after the slash is the unique game ID and can be traced back to a specific game on PickupHub, indicating which game the transaction is for. “HOLD” indicates that this is a Hold and not a charge/payment.

When the game starts, PickupHub charges your card, and the Hold converts to a payment, which updates the description to: HUB/99111-PYMT
This lets you know that you have paid for the game.
If the game is canceled for any reason, the payment does not occur, and the Hold expires and disappears from your account. This can happen very quickly or take a few days, up to 28 days to expire.
